Born and raised in Northern Arizona, Avari has been captivated by Southwestern style since day one. Her journey into metalsmithing began in 2015 when she stumbled upon a custom order from local legend Jay McCormick. From that moment, she was hooked, describing stamping her first piece as "coming home."

Avari built a full studio in her home shortly after, and in 2021, she took the leap, leaving her corporate retail career behind to pursue her passion project full-time. Reed + Rush embodies the essence of the Southwest: warm, welcoming, and adventurous, with a touch of down-to-earth charm. Each piece tells a story of exploration and creativity, like a friendly conversation around a campfire under the desert stars.
